BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

Your favorite nurses are back!

We at Never Stop Productions are planning an encore performance of the original play, A Need Fulfilled. Honoring the black nurses who served America during World War II, this is a story that NSP's Director, Arthur Reese, has wanted to write for many years. Over six hundred black nurses fought for the right to serve during that conflict. Our project tells their story, along with the stories of many black soldiers from throughout American history. Working with letters, pictures and stories from the women who served, we have put together a stage play that will set the record straight with a lively period-inspired soundtrack.

We start with the nurses crossing the Atlantic, landing in Africa and facing the racism and adversity of their allies, as well as the bombs and bullets of the enemy. We then follow them into the jungles of Burma and through their return to the home front, where romance and danger fall hand in hand.

Our cast and crew hopes you'll consider supporting us as we not only prepare to bring this play to the stage, but also to New York this spring by informing your students, family, friends and faculty of this production, which opens on September 13, 2019.
